We're based in Vancouver but when we get asked to fly to Alberta to photograph a Drumheller wedding we just have to get on the plane and do it. The backdrop of Drumheller is second to non, a land of dinosaurs, long scenic views, caves and full of unique places to visit. Brit & Zac's Drumheller wedding was set on a cliff top overlooking one of these such valleys. Although it was raining on their wedding day, it turned out to be so magical.
In 2009 the Smithsonian Magazine conducted a new poll to update the claim to be - the dinosaur capital of the world. Beyond the abundance of dinosaur statues and the presence of Drumheller in the heart of the Canadian badlands.
Fossil World Discovery Centre follows in those same footsteps. Come see for yourself, we are sure you will agree. Buried beneath the badlands of Drumheller is the largest variety of dinosaurs ever found in one place. The shear number of dinosaurs found in Drumheller is extraordinary. It takes more than one day to see all that this place has to offer.
Camp grounds are plentiful in and around Drumheller. Staying in one of the in town campgrounds gives the family lots of activity choices. Drumheller is small and everything is accessible by bicycle from the in town campgrounds. There are good bike trails for the family to enjoy.
Travel Alberta through the Drumheller Chamber of Commerce has lots of information on Drumheller and the activities you will find here.
